After initial contact has been made, we work closely with you to determine the needs of your design.

Should it be necessary, our professional designer (with 20+ years of building design experience), can meet with you to resolve any and all of your design queries (note: a non-refundable design fee applies to all professional design consultations).

Enquiry.

Quote.

Upon collating all required information a formal quote is provided, specifying the requirements of your product and costings.

Formal estimates are valid for 14 days, prices are subject to change.

Deposit.

Once you are ready to proceed with your order, a 50% deposit is required. Detailed drawings of your product will be sent out approximately 7 days from the payment of the order deposit.

Final Design and Specification.

After you have received your detailed product drawings, it is imperative that you check over details of the order including measurements and door swings. We recommend using a qualified installer/builder to check all drawings and details.

IMPORTANT: Please note Steelie will not be held accountable for any incorrect information provided by you, your builder or any other party that may result in your door being manufactured at the incorrect size.

Formal Sign Off.

Once your amendments have been made (if required) you will receive your final drawings for sign off.

Exciting times, production is about to start!

Manufacture.

Once we receive your signed confirmation, your order will be placed into production within 7 days.

Your order will be available for delivery within 12-16 weeks after the signed order form is received.

Manufacturing Completion & Order Balance.

Once your order has completed production (approximately 6 weeks after the signed form is received), we will contact you with images of your order prior to packing and shipping. 

At this point the final balance of your order is due.

Shipping.

Once we have received your final payment, your order will be placed in the next available shipment.

We will be in touch to confirm your site delivery details and will provide an estimated time of arrival for your shipment.

Our doors are shipped in a custom made protective frame to assure the quality of our product. Disposing of all packaging is the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery.

Once the shipment has arrived and cleared safely in the warehouse, our third-party freight carrier will be in contact to liaise the delivery to the nominated address.

Note: Delivery needs to be made when your order arrives to the specified port. We cannot hold or store items.
