Terms & Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) are applicable when you purchase any door or product from Steelie Steel Frame Doors. Our privacy policy is also available below for your reference. By placing an order with Steelie, you agree to abide by these T&C and our privacy policy.
1. Order Submission
Upon receiving a 50% deposit, a contract is formed between you and Steelie. Click here for the complete order procedure.
a) CAD Drawings:After your deposit is received, we will provide detailed CAD drawings based on your specifications. It is necessary for these drawings to be approved before production begins. Once signed off, your product will be manufactured according to the precise measurements in the final drawings. Purchasers and installers must carefully review the drawings prior to approval.
Steelie will not be liable for any inaccuracies resulting from information provided by you, your builder, or any other third party, which may lead to your door being incorrectly sized or not fitting upon delivery. This includes any measurements taken on-site.
b) Variance:We will strive to meet your specifications, but you acknowledge that a variance of +/- 4mm is acceptable. As our products are custom-made by hand, minor manufacturing variations may occur, which are beyond our control. Additionally, minor cosmetic imperfections in materials, paint, glazing, and welding might be present. Steel doors can exhibit some minor bowing after transit due to their size and weight.
Any defects outside the acceptable variance will be addressed according to our warranty policy (Section 7).
2. Payment Terms
All quotes are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include glazing and delivery unless specified otherwise. Installation is not included in this pricing.
A 50% deposit is required to initiate your order, covering co-ordination of design, consultations, and production. The remaining balance is due once you have approved the factory photos, covering production completion and shipping. Final payments must be made within five (5) working days. Late payments will incur additional storage fees, which will vary based on the dimensions of the order.
3. Delivery
Your order will be scheduled for shipment once the balance payment is received. Our team will contact you to confirm delivery details and provide an estimated arrival time. After your shipment arrives at our warehouse, our third-party carrier will reach out to arrange delivery to your specified address.
Please be prepared to accept delivery, as failure to do so on the agreed date will incur storage and re-delivery fees. These charges will be added to your account and must be settled before delivery.
We recommend unpacking and inspecting your order promptly. To claim any defects or damages, photos must be taken before installation, as claims made post-installation will not be accepted.
It is crucial to store your door in a dry, covered location to maintain warranty eligibility. Long-term storage is discouraged and may void warranties.
4. Installation
We do not accept liability for installation services. We strongly recommend that a qualified builder or carpenter perform the installation. Steelie is not responsible for any installation errors made by the installer chosen by the customer.
5. Refund Policy
As all Steelie products are custom-made, we do not offer refunds after an order has been approved. If you cancel your order after paying a deposit but before signing off, a cancellation fee of $1000 or 5% of the total order value (whichever is greater) will apply.
We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion and will inform you as soon as possible. If payment has been made, it will be refunded to your original payment method promptly.
6. Liability
We are not liable for any personal injuries, damages, or fatalities resulting from improper installation or misuse of our products. We also do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage occurring during transportation or delivery, or for delays beyond our control. However, we will assist you in managing any related insurance claims or delays.
7. Warranty
All doors undergo a thorough inspection before shipment. We provide a limited 3-year warranty against defects attributable to our manufacturing processes. Warranty claims will be addressed at our discretion, offering either repair or replacement for defects caused by faulty materials, valid for three years from the receipt of your product.
Products are not covered under warranty for defects resulting from wear and tear, misuse, improper storage, or installation.

8. Photography & Publications
Steelie will request your permission prior to using any images or videos for publication. You are welcome to share images or videos of our products online; however, we kindly ask that you reference or tag us in any such publications.
